Green Belt Relay 2026

We have one confirmed place in the GBR 2026, but there is an option for a second team if we can fill places.

I appreciate it is a long way off, but we need to gauge the level of firm committment to this event before confirming the second team. To be fair to the organisers and other clubs, we don’t want to take the place, only to give it up at a later date due to lack of interest.

Brief overview:

In a nutshell, the Green Belt Relay it’s a 220-mile, multi-stage relay race around the London Greenbelt.

Each team comprises 11 runners, with each runner completing 1 stage per day.

Starting at Hampton Court and finishing in Bushy Park, stages range from 6 – 13 miles in distance, over mixed terrain.

Most of the team should be willing to support our runners across the course and we hope to organise some overnight accomodation (as Saturday finishes on the other side of the M25). We finish the day on Sunday with a finish line party / celebration in Bushy Park!

We ideally need team members who can commit from Saturday morning until Sunday evening (although not essential, so please don’t let this put you off as long as you can participate in at least one stage on each day).
