We want as many of our members as possible to enjoy competing and representing the club, whatever their age or ability.

To help make this happen, the club pays entry fees for a wide range of competitions throughout the year, covering cross country, track and field, indoor athletics and road relays. Whether you're a junior competing for the first time, a senior athlete or a master who's been racing for years, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Below is a summary of the competitions where the club covers or contributes towards entry fees for its members.

Competitions We Support

Cross Country

The club pays entry fees for a number of cross-country leagues and championships, including the Surrey XC League, Surrey Championships, Downs League and other county and regional events.

Track & Field

We cover entry fees for a range of track and field leagues, relays and championships. These include the Southern Athletics League, Youth Development League, Lily B League, Ebbisham League and masters competitions. As a club member you will get free entry to our own annual Night of the Mad Miles track race in August.

Indoor Athletics

During the winter months we support indoor competitions, including Sportshall events for younger athletes and the Surrey Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Road Running & Relays

Members can represent the club in road running events and team relays, including the Imber Court Relays and SEAA Road Relays, plus our own Nonsuch Relays, with entry fees covered by the club.
