Greenbelt Relay 2027

A weekend event running round the whole of the London Greenbelt in relay teams!

Sometime in the next month or so we’ll be looking at entering the Greenbelt Relay for next year but before we do we need to determine if we have enough committed runners to enter a second team (although not guaranteed we’d get it when we ask). So for everyone who expressed interest earlier in the summer, please can you now decide whether you can commit by accepting on Spond if you are a definite yes. Please don’t accept if you can’t yet commit.

For those who’ve not done it before, it requires racing on both Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th May, with legs anywhere between 10k and 21k, and varying degrees of difficulty (you can choose what type you want). There’s an option to stay over with the team in Essex on Saturday night but that’s optional – about half did last year.

Within whoever accepts we’ll then work out teams vs reserves to cover for injuries nearer the time etc.
